I can see how a bad camera can spoil a good painting, I have the same problem 
If I can help, try shooting in daylight and then editing your photo in GIMP or PS to make it look more like the original.
But, about the picture itself - it's beautiful. Great touch of spring. I have pretty simmilar view outside my window, so happy about it
